Ozone is an early-stage, venture-backed startup that builds free consumer tools for internet users to capture, monitor, and monetize anonymized personal data in just a few clicks. We let users choose what they want to anonymously share with Ozone and its partners in exchange for cash.
We’re looking for a full-stack engineer to drive the development of a Chrome extension that selectively captures the data users want to share, and sends them polls and surveys to better understand their interests.
We need a builder who understands how to build websites and can take a product from designer mocks to reality. Prior experience building web-facing products (ideally B2C) is necessary, and the ability to own your own code is essential. Candidates should have at least one year of experience writing production code for the web.
Ozone’s product is built on AWS using React and Node. We ask that candidates are comfortable working in that environment. The primary interface is a Chrome extension, but prior experience building Chrome extensions is not required. Most of your code will be written in Javascript (ES6), HTML, and CSS. Since Ozone works heavily in data privacy, experience in cryptography and/or web security is an excellent add.
