Stacklist is on a mission to help inform, assist and inspire early stage entrepreneurs. Our weekly panels have become the most popular event series for early stage founders in NYC. We are growing quickly and hope to add someone to our team who has the motivation and hustle to move quickly, the smarts and communications skills to help us build our brand as well as a passion for helping startups and founders.

The events coordinator will report to Stacklist’s Head of Community & Partnerships and will assist in all aspects of event execution. This position has high growth potential for the candidate who executes outstanding panels and events and helps grow Stacklist’s events business.

Core responsibilities

• Assisting with all key stakeholder communications, including speakers, sponsors and exhibitors
• Researching and presenting new ideas for event content and formats
• Identifying and confirming speakers for weekly panels and events
• Overseeing event setup and logistics
• Drafting event descriptions and summaries
• Managing all relevant website, Eventbrite, and Meetup postings and updates for events
• Scoping out new event spaces
• Leading and supporting new initiatives that expand the content, reach and value of Stacklist within the startup community

Qualifications:

• Experience with event promotion and execution
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written communication skills
• Drive. You are hungry and want to move fast. You don't need close supervision to be productive
• Design skills are preferred, but not required
• Personable & outgoing
