We’re looking for an entrepreneurial content creator who can bring WayUp’s video initiatives to the next level. You will own all moving images for WayUp and will be in charge of ideating, producing, and editing all video content.

This role is ideal for someone who loves creating compelling and creative content, who is at the forefront of video production, and is passionate about helping students and recent graduates.

Your #1 responsibility is to create awesome video content for WayUp and this includes:

• Ideating and presenting video pitches

• Organizing shoot schedules

• Filming, producing, and editing all shoots

• Meeting with companies to come up with scripts for video interviews

• Animating and adding graphics to videos

• Expert in editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or something similar)

• Experience in creative compelling text graphics

• Experience creating videos

• Excellent communicator with a great ability to go off-the-cuff

• Willing to get your hands dirty as a one-person team to create high quality content

• Finger on the pulse of popular culture and lifestyle

• Hunger to learn with a hustler attitude

Great to haves:

• Significant social following, especially on YouTube or Vine

• Experience being on camera

• Experience with motion graphics
