    OVERVIEW OF ADOBE’S DIGITAL ACADEMY PROGRAM:

    Adobe Digital Academy is a two-part program that supports students from across the country.

    Part 1: Immersive Training with General Assembly

    Digital Academy scholarships provide students with web development training through trusted education partners. These education partners provide ongoing feedback on student performance, as part 2 is dependent on successful completion of Part 1.

    Part 2: Internship at Adobe

    Dependent on feedback from the education partner, Digital Academy students are eligible to be considered for a three-month internship program with a technical team at Adobe. They get hands-on job experience, ongoing feedback, mentorship, and peer support - high performers have the opportunity to be hired full-time.

    THE OPPORTUNITY:

    We are seeking a hands-on data scientist intern to help evolve and shape the future of Adobe Express by helping us understand and measure the value it provides to our users. You’ll be working as part of the Adobe Express product development team to understand and optimize all parts of the product. You’ll apply quantitative analysis, statistical techniques, modeling and data mining while working with product managers, design, marketers and executive leadership, to support making key decisions about the future of Adobe Express.The results of your work will influence the team roadmap, identify actionable product opportunities, refine our experimentation platform, and drive key initiatives, turning your insights and analyses into real-world products.

    All 2023 Adobe Interns will be ‘co-located hybrid’, meaning that you will be assigned to an Adobe office location, but in-office schedules will be flexible (2-3 days per week). All interns must live in the same state, country, and within commuting distance of their assigned Adobe office so they can be on-site as needed. Interns visiting Adobe sites must follow all applicable COVID-19 health and safety protocols. Digital Academy interns located 50+ miles away from an Adobe office and unable to relocate for an internship may be eligible for remote work.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • The intern is expected to be an individual contributor and work with various members of the Machine Learning and Data Science teams to build functioning prototypes on real-world big data through leveraging techniques in statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning as well as software development.

    • The prototypes will have the potentials to be incorporated into various products that address challenging business problems including customer conversion scoring and optimization, customer churn scoring and management, media attribution, leads scoring, sales operation analytics, marketing mix modeling and planning etc.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

    • Currently enrolled in a General Assembly Immersive through Adobe’s Digital Academy program

    • Ability to participate in a full-time internship between June-September

    • Understanding of statistical modeling/machine learning/ data mining concepts, and a track record solving problems with these methods.

    • Ability to take a business problem and translate that into a scalable mathematical model.

    • Proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java and C.

    • Familiar with one or more machine learning or statistical modeling tools such as R, Matlab, and scikit learn.

    • Spark and Hadoop experience is a plus.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $39.00 -- $51.00 hourly. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay rate for your job location during the hiring process.
