THE OPPORTUNITY
The Adobe Digital Media Legal intern will work closely with the lawyers and paralegals who provide legal counsel to product teams at Adobe who not only develop and market our best-selling offerings, Creative Cloud and Document Cloud, but also work on various initiatives related to AI and Adobe’s Content Authenticity Initiative. Our creative customers love our products, and they use them to make inspiring photos, art, videos, commercial products, and marketing pieces! We are seeking a positive, and upbeat undergraduate student interested in learning more about Adobe’s technologies and the legal work required to support them.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Projects the intern will be involved in during the summer are based on the Digital Media Legal team’s needs at the time but might include:
Research new laws, public policies, and technology trends.
Coordinate and synthesize materials used to aid in the provision of legal advice.
Shadow a lawyer on a contract discussions, counseling session, and UI review.
Assist with our group’s operations.
Assist with product release compliance checks.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree.
Special consideration will be given to candidates who have shown an interest in the legal profession by their research, studies, employment or extracurricular activities.
Desire to learn about technology and the practice of law within a technology company.
Strong written and verbal communications skills and not afraid to network or get to know new people.
Digital literacy including word processing, researching, database researching, Excel, and PowerPoint
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $26.00 -- $30.00 hourly. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay rate for your job location during the hiring process.
