    The Opportunity

We are looking for good people who understand government organizations and processes. The successful candidate will possess excellent communications and writing ability, high energy level, and have a curiosity about the constantly evolving technology policy, social policy, and modernizing government technology. We are looking for a great teammate who will work with us to improve government. The position reports to the Director of Government Relations.

    What You'll Do

    • Assist Adobe's Government Relations and Public Policy Team with policy development, advocacy, and sales support activities.
    • Assist with the development, coordination, and implementation of a successful government relations engagement strategy.
    • Assist with driving successful results and maintaining high levels of internal and external customer happiness that are measured through our team’s metrics.
    • Apply data-driven approaches to sharing and understanding government relations work.
    • Attend and supervise hearings, government-industry events and trade association meetings and prepare reports/meeting summaries.
    • Coordinate and host public policy and government leaders to Adobe offices to help Adobe and its employees stay engaged on current government and civic issues.
    • Assist with developing relationships with internal and external government and public policy experts, trade association policy staff, policymakers, and government officials.
    • Assist with producing content to advance our policy message and strategy.
    • Lead advocacy meetings and developing materials for advocacy.

    What you need to succeed:

    • Experience or familiarity with legislative, policy, and government processes.
    • Excellent communication skills - both written and oral.
    • Proficient in developing MS PowerPoint presentations and working with MS Excel/Word and Adobe Acrobat to lead team tasks and policy papers.
    • Interest in working directly in advocacy and policy development.
    • Ability to think and act both strategically and creatively.
    • Strong self-starter who is an excellent teammate and excels developing and carrying out their own work plan.
    • Ability to take complicated technical concepts and translate in a compelling and succinct manner on written form and in-person.
    • Knowledge of government agencies' structure and functions.
    • Bachelors degree required. Master’s degree helpful.
    • Passionate about civil service and the role of government in society.
    • Strong desire for success.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $41,300 -- $92,100 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
