    Siemens Corp., IT Americas organization is seeking a motivated and curious student to join our team as an IT Americas Marketing & Communications Intern in Alpharetta, Georgia.

    This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on communications experience within a global technology organization. You'll work alongside IT leaders and teams across the Americas, helping turn complex technology topics into clear, engaging communications for employees and leadership.

    From executive presentations and internal campaigns to employee events and digital content, you'll contribute to projects that reach audiences across the organization while building practical experience in corporate, executive, and technology communications.

    Siemens Corp., IT Americas organization is seeking qualified candidates for its IT Americas Internship Program in Marketing & Communications beginning in May 2027. This program is based in Alpharetta, GA.

    What You'll Do:

    As an IT Marketing and Communications Intern, you'll support communications and employee engagement activities across IT Americas. You'll have opportunities to own projects, collaborate with colleagues across functions and regions, and present your work to leadership.

    The employee responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

    • Create content for internal communication channels, including newsletters, SharePoint, internal social platforms, digital signage, email communications, and other employee-facing channels.
    • Develop executive-ready presentations and visual communications for leadership meetings, all-hands, employee forums, and other key initiatives, helping translate complex information into clear and compelling stories.
    • Support executive and leadership communications, including drafting messages, talking points, announcements, meeting materials, and other communications for IT leaders.
    • Translate technology topics into approachable content that helps employees understand IT programs, services, priorities, and organizational changes.
    • Support internal communications campaigns from concept through execution, including developing messaging, creating content, coordinating deliverables, and reviewing engagement or other available metrics.
    • Help plan and execute employee engagement initiatives and events.
    • Create visual and multimedia content such as graphics, digital signage, short-form videos, presentation visuals, and other creative assets.
    • Explore practical uses of AI and emerging tools for communications, including supporting content development, research, brainstorming, and more efficient communications workflows.

    You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications

    • Current undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree, preferably entering their junior or senior year.
    • Pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Journalism, International Affairs, Digital Media, or a related field.
    • Able to work 40 hours per week from May through August.
    • Able to work from the Alpharetta, GA office 2-3 days per week as part of a hybrid working environment.
    • Must meet Siemens' requirements for employment authorization in the United States.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to grammar, tone, and audience.
    • Strong PowerPoint skills and an interest in developing polished, visually engaging presentations.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft tools. Experience with SharePoint, Teams, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing tools is a plus.
    • An interest in technology and the ability to learn unfamiliar or technical topics and explain them in a way that is easy to understand.
    • Strong visual judgment and an eye for clean, professional design.
    • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
    • Curiosity about AI and emerging technology and how these tools can support communications work.
    • Confidence asking questions, seeking feedback, and collaborating with employees and leaders at different levels of the organization.
    • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative, global team.
    • Initiative and a willingness to take ownership of assignments from initial idea through final delivery.

    Candidates may be asked to provide examples of PowerPoint presentations and written work.

    You'll Benefit From

    The hourly pay range for this position $24 - $31 per hour, based off of your projected graduation year. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location. Additionally, interns for Siemens are eligible to contribute into our 401K program.
