JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking undergraduate-level Cybersecurity intern. As an intern, you will take on meaningful work, engage in out-of-the-box problem solving, and participate in global case challenges and impactful initiatives. You will get the chance to work with multiple teams, systems, and products through a wide variety of data sources. From technology to business, we are looking for people who can innovate, collaborate and bring Visa to the next level of a rapidly evolving digital marketplace. During the internship, you will work on one or more hands-on projects with the team. Our summer internship also equips you with social and professional networking events and developmental workshops, designed to provide you the resources and training to have an impactful summer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Cybersecurity Detection engineering teams with special projects as assigned including, but not limited to, threat hunting, log analytics, web application security, database etc.
Develop and maintain new and/or existing code and rules, API integrations or specialized utility programs.
Maintain knowledgebase and document operating procedures for security processes.
Work on establishing mature cyber threat detection processes by implementing SDLC practices for threat hunting.
Support any of WAF/SIEM/DAM/Endpoint teams in building new techniques and processing cyber threat intelligence to add to the knowledgebase.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $25/hr to $30/hr USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
