    Kickstart your career in Human Resources with Schneider Electric! As an HR Intern based in Lexington, Kentucky, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting core HR initiatives while partnering closely with the local Human Resources team.     Throughout the internship, you'll contribute to meaningful projects that impact employee experience, talent strategies, and HR operations while developing foundational skills in HR, recruiting, analytics, and project management.

    What will you do?

    • Lead and facilitate a file conversion project to improve document organization, accessibility, and compliance within HR systems.
    • Participate in HR pilot programs and provide thoughtful, actionable feedback to support continuous improvement efforts for the Lexington HR Team.
    • Support Talent Acquisition activities, including candidate engagement, interview coordination, recruiting event preparation, and administrative processes.
    • Analyze and manage HR data to identify trends, maintain data accuracy, and support reporting needs.
    • Assist with employee engagement initiatives and HR programs throughout the site.
    • Partner with HR team members on special projects that support business and employee objectives.
    • Maintain confidentiality while handling employee information and sensitive data.
    • Support process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives.

    What qualifications will make you successful?

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
    • Expected graduation date of May 2027 or later.
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
    • Ability to analyze data and present findings in a clear, meaningful way.
    • Demonstrated leadership through coursework, campus organizations, work experience, or volunteer activities.
    • Ability to work onsite in Lexington, Kentucky throughout the internship.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Previous internship, work, leadership, or campus involvement experience.
    • Experience working with data, reporting tools, or spreadsheets.
    • Interest in Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, HR Operations, or Organizational Development.
    • Familiarity with HR systems or recruiting platforms is a plus.

    For this U.S. based position, the expected pay range is USD $22.50 - $27.00 per hour. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
