    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Rotations will begin in September 2022

    The Human Resources Development Program (HRDP) is an approximately 3-year program, with three 9-month rotations through HR and one 6-month rotation within the business. The HRDP supports Visa's mission to recruit and develop future HR leaders with cross-functional knowledge and experience. The program provides exposure to multiple areas of Human Resources including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards and HR Consulting. In addition to meaningful rotations, associates are given training & development, mentoring, networking and leadership exposure.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    HR BUSINESS PARTNERING

    Drive people initiatives across the company and serve as trusted advisors to business leaders and executives on people-related strategies and organizational issues. Responsibilities in a rotation may include:

    • Partner with an executive leadership team to drive a change management agenda to meet the evolving needs of the business, informed by data analysis.
    • Leading a functional leadership team in reporting and action planning based on the annual Employee Survey results.
    • Utilize reporting and analytics and a strong partnership with COE partners to deliver an effective annual review process.

    TALENT MANAGEMENT

    From career management to succession planning to employee engagement, lead strategic and intuitive and build solutions to ensure Visa has the right skills in the right places. Responsibilities in a rotation may include:

    • Expanding the scope of talent success profiles to better integrate them into other key talent activities, such as hiring, developing and succession planning
    • Design and pilot new recognition initiatives, in partnership with business leaders, to ensure employees feel appreciated for the work they do
    • Enhancing our employee lifecycle surveys by working with key stakeholders to propose and implement changes to the content and design to enable more effective action planning
    • Contribute to building our culture of ongoing feedback by developing best practices for ongoing goal setting, regular check-ins and career development conversations, and partner with our HRIT team to design solutions to track impact and ROI

    EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

    Provide services to employees and managers, including management coaching, coaching on performance improvement plans, employee relations investigations, enterprise wide program execution, policy development and organizational health metrics and trends. Responsibilities in a rotation may include:

    • Responding to managers and employees on inquiries related to policy, performance management. and workplace accommodations.
    • Develop the internal Employee Relations brand to drive greater adoption of services through trust and positive experiences.

    DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

    Ensure that there is a rich tapestry of skills and perspectives to inform our business and help Visa drive, manage, and anticipate change. Responsibilities in a rotation may include:

    • Develop programs to promote cultural competency among Visa leaders to maximize engagement and create a more robust talent acquisition pipeline.
    • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data from various sources to determine areas of focus for increasing engagement and retention of diverse talent.

    TALENT ACQUISITION

    Connect internal and external talent to opportunities, and influence company strategy by hiring talented people to drive it. Responsibilities in a rotation may include:

    • Drive the development of a more robust internal mobility process in partnership with Talent Management.
    • Manage the full cycle recruiting process from hiring manager consultation, to the development target lists for sourcing, talent assessment, and negotiating offers.

    TOTAL REWARDS

    Drive and implement reward strategies to attract, motivate, retain and engage employees. Responsibilities in a rotation may include:

    • Ensure competitive pay practices through global benchmarking and market analysis.
    • Manage the corporate stock plan and long-term incentive plans.
    • Collaborate with Executives, HR Business Partners, Legal, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition to deliver specialized analysis and consulting work.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Graduate students completing MBA's or Master's degrees with a focus on HR Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or other HR-related disciplines
    • 2 - 6 years' relevant work experience
    • Graduation date between December 2021- August 2022
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0(or equivalent scale)
    • Permanent authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

    LOCATION: Foster City, CA

    WORK HOURS: Incumbent must make themselves available during core business hours.

    TRAVEL: Incumbent must be able to travel less than 10%

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, reach with hands and arms.
