    FTI is seeking an Instructional Design Intern to join our team during the summer of 2023. We are looking for candidates who are as excited as we are to build upon a culture that embodies excellence in all we do. Qualified candidates must be willing to obtain a Secret Clearance and report onsite to the Surface Warfare Schools Command center in Newport, RI.

    Responsibilities Include:

    Interns would learn to develop Navy Surface Warfare curriculum that can be delivered across a number of modalities including live in an instructor-led class and asynchronously. The focus for this internship will be on honing training development techniques that translate in both a Navy learning center as well as the civilian world as the Navy transitions to a ready, relevant learning environment.

  • Qualifications
    • Solid understanding of developing curriculum, learning, or development processes.
    • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems like Adobe Captivate.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management. 
    • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently. 
    • Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. 
    • Must be a Junior or Senior pursing a bachelors or master’s degree from an accredited institution in a STEM, Business, or Education discipline .
