    JOB DESCRIPTION

    This MBA Intern role will be part of the Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) Merchant Sales and Acquiring Acceptance Solutions team, Lead Go-to-Market strategies for the Acceptance Products and Solutions in the Latin America and Caribbean markets, which includes Card Present and Card Not Present environments, including the use and adoption of digital payments, checkout solutions, processing, risk and security and data analytics solutions, which covers the company’s Token Services, EMV 3DS, Tap to Phone, Merchant Onboarding, QR, Secure Remote Commerce, and other Corporate solutions. This position will also work directly with Account Executives on client-specific business development projects and sales efforts. This role is based in Miami, FL

    This person will work closely with key stakeholders, both internal and external to the group, and will be responsible for supporting key initiatives and projects.

    Key Functions and Day-to-Day Tasks May Include:

    • Direct and coordinate the go-to-market efforts on designated markets and of the requirements to successfully implement solutions and gain significant scale on the adoption of company Products by the Merchants, Payment Facilitators, Partners and Acquirers in the region.

    • Oversee and coordinate market requirements and ensure its prioritization with Global teams.

    • Support the market MSA Solutions leaders and teams by providing in-depth knowledge and consultancy to successfully achieve the goals and merchant/acquirer payment processes by implementing Merchant Digital Solutions.

    • Manage product roadmaps and enhancements with global product teams, and manage different Programs and enforce company Rules.

    • Coordinate efforts in the designated markets with the Global, Regional and Local functions and interact directly with new and existing customers, business and technology partners, and multi-functional internal and external stakeholders.

    • Develop go-to-market strategies for the designated products in the Region according to the market readiness and product availability.

    • Coordinate the MSA participation on the operational rules committees and councils representing the Region and the market stakeholders.

    • Develop in-depth knowledge of multiple Merchant Digital products to act as a Subject Matter Expert and drive client engagement.

    • Manage implementation efforts with internal, global, regional, and external stakeholders. Identify, develop and manage technology partners that complement and enhance Merchant Solutions capabilities.

    • Provide proposal support to the business team in order to accurately determine the feasibility, cost and time implications when responding to customer proposals.

    • Strategize with Direct Sales and Account Management teams to close sales opportunities, including frequent contacts with internal Sr. Directors and VPs.

    • Liaise with the Product team to maintain technical and functional knowledge of existing and new products.

    • Proactively stay up-to-date with product developments by monitoring code release notes and knowledge sharing within the team.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Students pursuing a MBA Degree with a graduation date between December 2023 - August 2024

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Fluency in Spanish or Portugese.

    • 4-6 years of business experience, with a strong track record of client service, strategic development and execution.

    • Experience at a top-tier management consultancy and/or a solid track-record of operating in an in-house corporate/group strategy role, coupled with managing operations of a function or business unit.

    • Knowledge of payment industry products, services and technologies, eCommerce, or mobile technology.

    • Experience in client-facing roles, having led senior client discussions and solutioning engagements with multiple key stakeholders, ideally including financial institutions (issuers or acquirers), large retailers/merchants, PSPs, technology providers, etc.

    • A proven track record of delivering high impact results working on projects in the areas of strategy, growth initiatives and new market/segment/business strategies

    • Ability to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders.

    • The ability to translate analytics, research, client/consumer needs into actionable plans and deliverables.

    • Strong commercial and financial acumen; superior problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.

    • Creativity and resourcefulness to overcome unexpected roadblocks.

    • An ability to challenge preconceived attitudes and behaviors and shape future thinking.

    • Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
