    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Technology Planning & Business Operations (TPBO) provides a central hub for supporting Visa’s global Technology organization by strategic program management portfolio planning and governance management reporting employee engagement and best practices. We take care of the business of Technology so that technologists can focus on what they do best! We are actively looking for a new grad Associate Project Coordinator to join our team. This is a key role in the smooth operation of TPBO that supports the department executive and manages the office as well as enables engaging and informative employee activities for TPBO our Foster City campus and the global Technology organization. The environment requires collaboration with multiple groups to accomplish our goals. Multiple concurrent initiatives require focus and initiative from someone with a passion for both planning and execution and who works effectively as both a leader for specific work efforts and as a collaborative team member. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated highly organized and consistently foster positive relationships.

    As a New College Grad job duties and projects could include:

    • Supporting executive level scheduling coordination of materials for leadership and team meetings and performing ad hoc projects/requests
    • Managing our team office by:
      • supporting staff onboarding and planning and coordinating facilities/space requirements
      • managing supplies within budget
      • being the go-to person for inquiries and solutions for staff and peers
      • creating an inclusive and engaging environment through planning and executing TPBO onsite virtual and hybrid activities and related communications independently or with input from the team
    • Contributing to Foster City site and global Technology meetings and activities that engage inform and recognize staff in partnership with key stakeholders; scope includes brainstorming planning/tracking organizing and executing with a clear focus on the details and desired outcomes
    • Producing Technology organization charts that reflect the current state of the global organization both monthly and as needed to support regulatory requests.
    • Participating in peer groups to build a collaborative and supportive network and to share best practices

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
    • BACHELOR'S DEGREE in Economics Business or a related field, GRADUATING JANUARY 2021 - AUGUST 2022
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent scale)

    • Strong communications skills specifically the absence of repeated grammatical or typographical errors clear and concise written and spoken communications and communications that demonstrate professional judgment.

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
