    Introduction

    Your role and responsibilities

    As a member of the Q2C & Operations organization, you will:

    • Support business operations, transformation programs, and strategic initiatives that improve process efficiency and business outcomes for the Royalty and Payment Management function.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze business requirements, identify opportunities, and implement innovative solutions.
    • Contribute to process improvement, automation, AI, and digital transformation projects that enhance operational effectiveness for the critical Royalty function.
    • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to generate insights, support decision making, and monitor business performance.
    • Assist in developing and maintaining operational documentation, process maps, reports, dashboards, and project deliverables.
    • Participate in project planning, execution, testing, and change management activities.
    • Identify risks, issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with business controls and governance requirements.
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across functions, regions, and organizational levels.
    • Leverage technology, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities to simplify work, improve experiences, and create business value.
    • Contribute to a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

    Required education

    Required technical and professional expertise

    • Currently pursuing a degree in Operations Management, Data Analytics, Finance or a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
    • Ability to interpret data and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and within diverse, global teams.
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and business processes.
    • Basic understanding of business operations, process management, project management, or digital transformation concepts.

    Preferred technical and professional experience

    • Experience with data analysis, reporting, visualization, or business intelligence tools (Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, or similar).
    • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Agile, Design Thinking, or Continuous Improvement practices.
    • Exposure to AI, automation, workflow technologies, or digital transformation initiatives.
    • Knowledge of enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, ServiceNow, or similar platforms.
    • Understanding of operational performance metrics, business controls, compliance, or governance processes.
    • Experience participating in cross-functional projects or stakeholder management activities.
    • Basic programming, automation, or data manipulation skills (Python, SQL, Power Automate, or similar) are an advantage.
    • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
    • Interest in innovation, business transformation, and operational excellence in a global enterprise environment.

    OTHER RELEVANT JOB DETAILS

    Supplemental 1 employees may be eligible for up to 8 paid holidays, minimum of 56 hours paid sick time and the IBM Employee Stock Purchase Plan. IBM offers paid family medical leave and disability benefits to eligible employees where required by applicable law.

For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
