  • Responsibilities

    The SMB Account Manager engages, retains, and enables our small and medium sized customers to maximize the full value of WayUp’s solutions. As a trusted advisor and advocate for our customers, the SMB Account Manager is responsible for the relationship with customers throughout the entire post-sales lifecycle, including guiding customers to success and driving product adoption, overall satisfaction, and managing upsell and renewal opportunities.

    How You'll Make An Impact

    • Effectively manage and support a book of 100+ small business customers
    • Execute small business contract renewals and upsells to maximize contract value size and customer satisfaction  
    • Work with customers to identify goals and key performance indicators that define program objectives 
    • Build relationships at all levels of the customers from operational owners to executive sponsors 
    • Proactively monitor platform usage and performance and reach out to key stakeholders as needed 
    • Prioritize and provide timely status updates and communication to customer on outstanding issues and requests
    • Understand how to leverage WayUp resources to educate customers on best practices and provide strategic recommendations that support customer needs
    • Ensure internal alignment on account growth by partnering with Sales team and provide internal insights to advocate for small business product and process enhancements
    • Accurately track and maintain Salesforce opportunities

  • Qualifications
    • 1 - 2 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of personal accountability 
    • A client-first attitude 
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Outstanding attention to detail 
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills
    • A collaborative team player with an optimistic, can-do outlook 
    • Strong relationship builder 
    • Proficiency in Google Doc/Sheets/Slides, Microsoft Suite, and Salesforce a plus
