    Product Operations Coordinator

    Sharpen is a subscription-based consumer app that provides college students with personalized, engaging study experiences and actionable insights to help them achieve their academic goals. We are a passionate, fast-growing team within McGraw Hill, a global education technology company that is transforming the way students learn and succeed.

    Sharpen has scaled from Minimum Loveable Product to hundreds of thousands of users, has been featured on the App Store, and has paying customers in its first year of launch.

    We are seeking a Product Operations Coordinator to support our dynamic team. This full time, entry-level role reports directly to the head of Sharpen and will work across multiple functions, making an impact in product, analytics, marketing, and business operations. This is a remote position, open to candidates authorized to work in the United States (strong preference for Miami-based) and requires up to 15% travel for the year.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with the product team to support product management activities, including user research, summarizing data insights, and documenting product requirements.
    • Assist in marketing initiatives such as coordinating acquisition and retention campaigns, conducting monetization experiments, and building presentations.
    • Help ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration to support our goal of scaling Sharpen to reach millions of students.
    • Serve as the go-to person for various operational tasks.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • 1+ years of experience in the technology or consulting industry, with an interest in edtech and a passion for student success.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Data visualization and/or graphic design skills a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and switch between priorities with ease.
    • Self-starter with a proactive mindset—hungry to learn and contribute.
  • Compensation
    The salary range for this position is between $60K-$75K annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
