As part of the WayUp engineering team at Yello.co you'll have the opportunity to join a team of highly skilled developers as we build new features into the WayUp platform.

About The Role:

You’ll be embedded into a team of engineers to focus on solving real-world challenges. You'll help the team focus on continuous improvement, code quality, security, and software craftsmanship.

How You'll Make An Impact:

• Work with product managers and developers to define requirements for new platform features
• Create stories and project documentation to outline and track application requirements and progress
• Move application code into production and create/update documentation to support the application for user questions and future modifications

What You’ll Gain:

• Learn production software skills by pairing with members on your team and moving through the entire software development lifecycle from idea to code to launch
• Work with the team lead and manager to manage the overall timeline

• Experience with building applications for the web with at least one of Javascript/Typescript or Python
• Experience with Django or a similar web development framework and/or ReactJS is strongly preferred
• Experience with version control systems including Github or Gitlab is preferred
• Unit, system testing and other QA experience is a plus
• Experience with SQL, PostgreSQL or related databases or database design is a plus
• Knowledge of RESTful web services is a plus
• Experience with Docker is a plus
