    JOB DESCRIPTION

    This Intern role is within the North America Sales function and the Emerging Payment Solutions team in North America. The Emerging Payment Solutions team has account management and business development responsibilities among BIN sponsor banks (issuing and acquiring), program managers and 3rd party fintech organizations responsible for developing or distributing Visa products including prepaid, debit, small business, commercial, healthcare, government, and Visa Direct. The team includes resources focused on account management, new business, strategy, and analysis.

    This intern will have the opportunity to work on supporting Visa's goals in the emerging payments space by supporting sales activities, fostering CRM tool adoption, working on onboarding materials, helping generate leads, and providing key market analysis. The position will also focus on supporting the team's internal reporting efforts including monthly performance dashboards across our clients and prospects as well as executive reports. Other unique projects can also apply. Qualified candidates will show an ability to quickly build relationships internally across multiple teams while also demonstrating a desire and capability to excel in other sales roles within the organization.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Find new sales and revenue generating opportunities
    • Engage with Fintech clients in the market
    • Ensure implementation of key sales support elements aligned to annual goals and plans
    • Help source new use cases for Visa products and solutions
    • Continuously review payment landscape and recommend new and creative approaches to growing Visa's 3rd party and Fintech business
    • Foster adoption and usage of CRM tool through CRM best practices and procedures
    • Develop and expand key internal reports leveraging various reporting and analysis tools
    • Support the team with ad hoc data requests and analysis
    • Foster productive relationships at all levels with the client and the Visa organization
    • Develop an understanding of 3rd party and Fintech space including payment strategy across all product platforms
    • Participate in sales meetings and training activities
    • Develop a comprehensive understanding of all Visa products and services

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Pursuing a Bachelors Degree with a graduation date of December 2022 or later
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent scale)
    • WORK AUTHORIZATION:Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position. Future sponsorship will not be considered.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Willingness to learn and execute effectives sales strategies for new payment products and services
    • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Confidence and ability to effectively createanddeliver presentations
    • Ability to coordinate internal and external resources and nurture cross functional relationships
    • Demonstrated understanding of financial indicators to measure business performance and an ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision
