    JOB DESCRIPTION

"Visanet" is capable of handling more than 50,000 transactions per second, with convenience, reliability, and security, including fraud protection for consumers and guaranteed payment for merchants.

    Our user base is growing fast and the team is looking for a highly motivated, personable and organized individual who uses creativity and hustle to continue building our developer website experience and community. As the first online community at Visa, the Visa Developer Community is leading the company in community engagement by establishing best practices and processes for building a vibrant self-sustaining community. This role will work closely with the Visa Developer Center product manager and the web experience senior director to help shape the future of the platform and of our developer engagement experience on community. The person will also work closely with our product and marketing teams.

    This role is a unique opportunity to merge digital product management, business, social, content management and marketing.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    As a member of the Visa Developer Platform team the successful candidate will be responsible for helping grow our Visa Developer Community site. As such, this individual will help manage the platform. The ideal candidate will help create engaging content and experiences to help drive adoption of the platform. She/He will be interested in marketing, product management and particularly skilled at writing, editing and have the desire to grow our social presence. The individual will be hungry to learn and excited to join a fast-moving, exciting team who are making a different in the payments space.

    Specifically, the intern will help:

    • Help product manage our community platform
    • Engage with our community members and conduct needs assessments
    • Help our content owners with publishing and editing of site content.
    • Maintain the social and content calendars for publishing on the site.
    • Write and copy edit website and customer community content as needed.
    • Support activities and events, like meetups, webinars and hackathons, held by the VDP team. Collaborate with Marketing partners for promotion and content builds.
    • Collaborate with cross functional innovation teams to keep social and site content fresh, engaging and developer focused.
    • Pitch new content pieces based off Visa products and/or external trending developer topics.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Currently completing a Bachelor's degree program
    • Graduate between December 2022- August 2023
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 (or equivalent scale)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Creative writing and storytelling ability
    • Editing and proofreading
    • Experience with Khoros, Lithium, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Communities, or other similar platforms a plus
    • Tech and social media savvy

    TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
