JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Visa internship programs occurs during the summer months only.

Visa's Global Digital Payments Product group is responsible for identifying new opportunities that exist within the digital payment landscape creating strategies that define Visa's participation in those opportunities and delivering the capabilities required to capture those opportunities. Within that team the Digital Platform Product function owns the product roadmap and is responsible for delivery of the platform and product capabilities for the Visa Token Service and other digital service offerings. As an intern on the VTS Platform team you will work alongside Product managers and learn about our complex and highly interconnected Digital platform & products. The role being highly cross-functional you will work with Product leaders Engineers Architects Enterprise Risk Commercialization and Integration teams to ideate execute and launch token products. The initiatives you will work on will aid in the reliability and continued improvement of VTS platform and help in defining the product strategy to meet the exponential growth in digital payments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Engage in problem-solving research ideation planning and implementation of VTS platform product initiatives
• Responsible for defining and managing product roadmap for VTS core platform initiatives
• Develop business case and business justification that informs prioritization of proposed roadmap
• Work with technology teams to delivery and launch product capabilities in market per product roadmap
• Define and monitor KPIs for areas of product ownership and take action against insights to improve product performance
• Work with extend product team and cross functional stakeholder groups to execute against the broader product strategy and drive the usage and expansion of Visa tokens and digital products

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• PURSUING A BACHELORS DEGREE in Computer Science Computer Engineering CIS/MIS Data Science Cybersecurity Businessor a related field, GRADUATING DECEMBER 2022 OR LATER

• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent problem solving skills with a strong focus on serving clients
• Passionate about what you do and excited about the opportunity to transform payments
• Have a knack forlearning about complex systems
• Strong team player self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities data collection buy-in and strong decision making abilities to elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately
• Expert skills with MS Word Excel PowerPoint and Cloud tracking tools
• Excellent communication skills including verbal written and presentation necessary
• Active listening skills
• Strong sense of urgency driving to successful execution
• Comfort in working closely with cross-functional teams required
