    Enroll in Visa’s Internship Prep Workshop, hosted in partnership with CodePath.org this summer. In 12-weeks, program participants will gain a preview of real-world software topics and be prepared to solve challenging algorithmic problems in whiteboard and coding interviews. Practice your interview and tech skills with peers and mentors to help prepare you for an internship at Visa - an experience that will lay the groundwork for a career in the tech industry.

    This 12-week, virtual class taught by professional engineers will help you solve challenging algorithmic problems so you can ace whiteboard and coding interviews to land an internship at Visa. Over the course of the summer, you will attend lectures, labs, and info sessions, plus receive feedback on your resumes. With mock interview practice, students of all experience levels will be prepared to succeed in securing an internship that will lay the groundwork for a career in the tech industry. Based on your current level of experience, you will be placed into beginner, intermediate, or advanced sections of the course, working at the appropriate level with a cohort of peers and mentors to practice the skills you will need for your next interview.

    Program participants will:

    • Gain a preview of real-world software topics
    • Solve challenging algorithmic problems
    • Get access to Visa employees and insights to Life@Visa
    • Receive priority invites to apply for Visa internship opportunities next summer ('22)

  • Qualifications
    • Current bachelors students who have plans to graduate between Decemeber 2022 – August 2023
    • Candidates should identify as Black/African American, Hispanic/LatinX, Native American or Pacific Islander
    • Majoring in computer science or related majors
    • GPA at 3.0 or above
    • Have completed at least one basic programming course
    • Must commit to attending classes during the required days and times; no exceptions will be made; be available in the summer from June through August for 5-10 hours per week in addition to mandatory course dates
      • (A) June 1 - August 21, 2021, Tues at 6 pm - 8 pm PST & Sat at 10 am - 12 pm PST OR
      • (B) June 2 - August 21, 2021, Wed at 3 - 5 pm PST & Sat at 12:30 - 2:30 pm PST
