      • Marketing
    • This is a learning-intensive program designed to give you essential business insights and hands-on experience in your field of choice. It's a full-time, 10-week commitment from JUNE 2, 2021 through AUGUST 6, 2021.

    WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS ROLE

    As a Spectrum Intern, you'll be essential to two teams - your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on June 2, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations. Internship responsibilities may include

    • Assist in fundamental analysis of the performance of our verticals to inform adjustments to tactics and GTM strategy.
    • Create simple dashboards in Tableau to identify insights on vertical and regional performance. Deliverable: Present a dashboard to the entire Vertical Marketing & Programs team at the end of the internship.
    • Manage the work flow process for Initiatives, dashboard and reporting for in-flight marketing initiatives. Deliverable: Present a summary of our initiative performance and opportunities for focus and improvement to the entire Vertical Marketing & Programs team at the end of the internship.
    • Participate in content and asset reviews for the strategic verticals.
    • Work on blogs with our Social Medial team for specific vertical client/prospect events. Deliverable: Present a recommendation to Vertical Marketing & Programs and Brand leadership regarding Social Media strategy for strategic verticals at the end of the internship.
    • Support the execution of the virtual client/prospect events.
    • Assist in simple data pulls from Salesforce.com to inform marketing tactics and performance.
    • Produce summaries for key Marketing/Sales interlock discussions that this individual will participate in.
    • Produce weekly summary of Vertical Marketing & Programs weekly accomplishments.

    HERE'S WHAT IT TAKES TO GET STARTED

    Required qualifications

    • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
    • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
    • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
    • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

    Preferred skills:

    • Effective prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while working with a sense of urgency
    • Confident when presenting to groups
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
