      • Marketing
    • This is a learning-intensive program designed to give you essential business insights and hands-on experience in your field of choice. It's a full-time, 10-week commitment from JUNE 2, 2021 through AUGUST 6, 2021.

    WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS ROLE

    As a Spectrum Intern, you'll be essential to two teams - your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on June 2, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.

    Internship responsibilities may include:

    Help the Vertical Marketing Manager plan, develop and execute marketing programs to drive awareness, generate new sales leads and engage existing leads.

    • Assist in developing and managing go-to-market strategies for prospect acquisition and client upsell programs
    • Assist in creating, editing, and executing demand generation campaigns including, but not limited to: SEO/SEM, paid media/digital advertising, social media, content syndication, direct mail, email and industry events.
    • Administering and overseeing production of campaign creatives and collateral with external creative agencies
    • Coordinate with external media vendors to execute digital advertising programs
    • Coordinate with departmental stakeholders to manage project deliverables and deadlines for programmatic campaigns
    • Complete any necessary market research to fulfill campaign needs
    • Help gather and prepare audience data used to distribute marketing messages
    • Gather and analyze campaign metrics to discover trends and find opportunities to increase brand awareness and generate demand
    • Assist in developing lead follow-up and campaign training resources to enable Sales success
    • Assist in the development and distribution of digital prospect and client surveys
  • Qualifications

    HERE'S WHAT IT TAKES TO GET STARTED

    Required qualifications

    • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
    • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
    • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
    • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

    • Content marketing
    • Social media marketing
    • Digital advertising/Paid media
    • SEO/SEM
    • Marketing go-to-market strategies

    Skills:

    • Excellent project management and organizational skills
    • Excellent writing and communication skills (marketing copywriting)
    • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
