We would love you to join our teams to share your innovative ideas and perspectives that will impact the future of Technology!  Our TechX Professional Rotation Program offers early in career graduates with a Bachelor's degree in technology the opportunity to gain a variety of experiences to grow and develop their career interests. This is a full 18-month program with 3 team rotations - each 6 months in length. Through each team rotation, participants will be assigned results-oriented projects, gain broad and valuable perspectives, and make a lasting impact towards our customers and business. Participants will build on their field experience, be paired with forward-thinking mentors, and participate in networking and social events. At the end of the program, participants will decide which of the rotating teams is the best fit for them to continue their career in T-Mobile’s Technology organizations.

    The 2021 program begins in June and will be based in one of many locations: Seattle Metro Area (WA), Parsippany (NJ), Downers Grove (FL), Overland Park (KS), Atlanta (GA), & Dallas Fort Worth/Frisco (TX). Relocation is provided for those who are eligible.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    As a TechX Professional, you will learn & employ a wide variety of new technologies and be involved in creating and maintaining new processes in an environment where you are constantly learning and solving problems. You will work closely with your team and have the opportunity to collaborate across functions. In this role, you may design and develop internal & external business systems/applications, systems interfaces, databases, reporting, or business intelligence systems, as required to deliver new systems functionality supporting corporate business objectives.

    Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building & influencing, talent management, results focus and inspirational leadership. Some responsibilities and experiences may include:

    • Uses your knowledge of programming to automate day-day operational tasks, deployments and monitoring tasks applications and platforms
    • Participates in creating, developing & managing the deployment architecture for applications and platforms
    • Implement monitoring, dashboards, escalations and alerts-• Developing and driving incident management processes, playbooks and stakeholder communication mechanisms
    • Driving root cause analysis (RCA) and risk management processes
    • Driving ongoing improvements and efficiency in operational practices, tools and processes

  • Qualifications
    • Upcoming graduates (May/ June 2021) acquiring a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Management Systems, Information Technology, or related field or graduated within the past 12-months (May 2020)
    • Available to travel up to 15% for training and program activities
    • Authorization to work for any employer in the United States without Sponsorship now or in the future
    • Committed to completing an 18-month rotational program

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Currently enrolled in a 4-year degree seeking college or university
