    • This is a learning-intensive program designed to give you essential business insights and hands-on experience in your field of choice. It's a full-time, 10-week commitment from JUNE 1, 2022 through AUGUST 5, 2022.

    WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS ROLE

    As a Spectrum Intern, you'll be essential to two teams - your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You'll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on June 1, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.

    Internship responsibilities may include

    • This internship will focus on three key areas: acquisition of new subscribers, upgrade of current subscribers, and retention of current subscribers, and will learn about marketing strategies executed across a variety of direct response tactics.
    • Learn to develop and implement marketing campaigns focused on growing Spectrum's residential subscriber base.
    • Develop marketing campaigns to acquire prospective customers and engage and retain current customers at key points in the customer lifecycle.
    • Learn and apply key direct response marketing concepts, processes and practices related to increasing customer acquisition and improving lifetime value.
    • Manage and support execution of customer growth strategy and related direct response tactics.
    • Evaluate marketing strategy through weekly analysis of tactical performance. Provide insights to the Marketing & Creative Strategy team that will help further inform future campaign development.

    Required qualifications

    • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
    • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
    • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
    • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

    Preferred qualifications

    • Interest/background in Marketing
    • Ability to communicate orally and in writing, in a clear and straightforward manner
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Mature judgment and individual initiative
    • Ability to work independently within established timeframes
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
    • Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
