WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS ROLE
As a Spectrum Intern, you’ll be essential to two teams — your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 31st, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.
Internship responsibilities may include
Supporting the aggregation, reporting & analysis sales incentive activities across sales and retention business units.
Providing logistical and analytical support to assigned Analytics-related projects.
Condense data files and reports into manageable formats
Exchange and manage files in many formats including Excel
Ensure all requirements are captured for reporting and analytic needs
Monitor sales incentives to evaluate success
Analyze large sets of data
Independently create presentations in PowerPoint to communicate data findings to business leaders
HERE’S WHAT IT TAKES TO GET STARTED
Required qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree
Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program
Preferred qualifications
Proficient in Microsoft desktop products including Access, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Project
Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills, thorough attention to detail, and the capability to meet deadlines, while working both independently and as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively and work under pressure deadlines
Ability to work independently
Ability to work with designers/developers
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Experience with Visualization or data mining tools a plus, but not required
