    • This is a learning-intensive program designed to give you essential business insights and hands-on experience in your field of choice. It’s a full-time, 10-week commitment from MAY 31, 2023 through AUGUST 4, 2023.

    WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT IN THIS ROLE

    As a Spectrum Intern, you’ll be essential to two teams — your respective department and your Intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 31st, webinars, community service, cross-functional project, and final presentations.

    Internship responsibilities may include

    The SMB Marketing & Creative Strategy Intern will learn to develop, execute, and influence a variety of marketing programs targeted to small to medium size business owners, with a focus on:

    • Executing the monthly Spectrum Business Insights campaign from inception to deployment across various tactics and platforms.

    • Develop small business playbook researching Spectrum Business, industry, and vertical campaigns and recommended breakthrough opportunities.

    • Contribute to activities across the team (such as: documenting assets, proofing materials, and developing presentations).

    Job Duties:

    • Work across the Spectrum Business team and with key vendors to execute a full Spectrum Business Insights campaign inclusive of: topic ideation, article development, SEO, CMS programming, and creation of social posts and emails that promote the campaign.

    • Create an asset library that documents the asset, contents, and use it to enable the team to quickly audit in-market messages and ensure accuracy and poignancy.

    • Research and dissect small business marketing campaigns across industry and vertical.

    • Assist with proofing of creatives across the team spanning multiple marketing tactics (such as: direct mail, websites, social posts, email, etc.)

    • Ad hoc reporting, analysis, and presentations as needed

    HERE’S WHAT IT TAKES TO GET STARTED

    Required qualifications

    • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Degree

    • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program

    • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum Intern development events and activities throughout the program

    Preferred qualifications

    • Interest/background in Creative development, Marketing, Communications, or Business Management

    • Ability to communicate orally and in writing, in a clear and straightforward manner

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    • Mature judgment and individual initiative

    • Ability to work independently within established timeframes

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment, Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
