    At a Glance

    • You’re a motivated rising junior or senior student with a 3.0 GPA or higher seeking a degree in one of the following areas listed below from an accredited college or university:
      • Accounting
      • Finance
    • This is a full-time, 10-week program designed to give you real-world experience working within the telecommunications industry in your field of choice.
    • Internship program runs from May 27 through July 31, 2026.
    • In addition to the role-based projects you’ll work on, you’ll also participate in professional development sessions, networking opportunities, and have access to a mentor.

    The Spectrum Internship Experience
    You’ll join one of our departments for the summer, where you’ll contribute to meaningful projects that give you insight into what it’s like to work at a leading connectivity company. You’ll have access to:

    What you can expect in this role

    As a Spectrum intern, you’ll spend the summer working alongside two teams — your respective department and your intern peer group. Department and team-focused projects account for about 80% of your schedule. You’ll spend the other 20% on professional development sessions and networking activities, including the Kickoff Conference on May 27th, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects, and final presentations.

    Internship responsibilities may include

    Charter's Business Process and Controls Intern will have the opportunity to support the Transactional Accounting and Reporting department in project-based work such as:

    • Facilitate and drive consistency of internal controls across the organization through process flows and narrative standardization
    • Attend SOX walkthroughs for business processes and related systems
    • Assist with flowchart documentation to capture the data flow for business processes
    • Assist with documentation requests from the internal and external audit teams to support the financial statements and internal controls
    • Support and interact with various departments through the Company, including Corporate Accounting, Tax and Internal Audit

    Required qualifications

    • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited College or University completing a bachelor’s degree
    • Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater in current program
    • Ability to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events and activities throughout the program
    • Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship

    Preferred qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in degree program in field of study and planning to pursue a CPA license
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access
    • Highly organized, ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
    • Strong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Project and time management skills
    • Works well in a team environment
