AT&T Global Public Solutions requires a Unified Communications & Collaboration (UCC) Architect to join the team. In this role, you will lead designing and managing the UCC environments for a large-scale government client with a 500,000+ size user base. The Unified Capabilities Architect will implement, design and architect complex UC solutions bringing strong industry experience for government solutions. You must demonstrate a general knowledge of market trends and competition and also demonstrate the capabilities in understanding the DoD Information Technology environment and be able to map the requirements to solutions and proactively suggest alternatives. You will be responsible for evaluating, designing, configuring, and implementing hardware and software components for cloud and on-premise voice, video, chat, IM and conferencing. Responsibilities include:
Coordinating work with engineering and operational staff to evaluate, design, and deploy changes to UCC standards that optimize service quality and employee productivity within a standard systems engineering framework
Serving as the highest point of escalation for audio, video, and web conferencing problems that could not be resolved by Tier 1-3 support teams
Ensuring that the tools and processes are in place to manage performance, capacity, availability, and quality
The ability to work independently with little to no supervision researching new technologies or comparing technologies to meet the customers need while providing an unbiased opinion.

Self-disciplined, self-starter, professional who can successfully bring projects to closure with minimum direction, guidance and oversight
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, Mathematics
At least fifteen (15) years of voice/video collaboration engineering experience while meeting expertise requirements
Minimum 10 years Solution Engineering / Solution Architect Role. Minimum 5 years as a Solution Architect
Proven Lync / S4B global rollout experience for 50K seats plus
Possess excellent and experienced understanding of Microsoft applications and the Skype Operations Framework
Lync/S4B, Exchange, AD, SharePoint, Azure
MCSE
Experience managing an engineering team
Experience of working in a matrix function and international environment
Proven performer in customer engagements Technical Requirements
Working knowledge and ability to design and deploy enterprise Lync / Skype for Business for a global deployment footprint.
Knowledge and experience of integrating Lync 2013 into 3rd party telephony environments using SIP Trunks or Gateways (Desirable)
Experience in recent Lync/Voice deployment programs involving devices such as IP Phones, SBA’s, and SBC’s.
In depth skills around Microsoft Skype for Business, Lync 2010/2013, OCS 2007 R2, SIP, audio/video/web standard protocols.
In depth skills and expertise on Polycom Lync/Skype enabled handsets including VVX, Trio8800, IP5000.etc
In depth skills and expertise on Audio-codes/Sonus gateways, including configuration, integration including the SBA components and Media pack modules
Good understanding of AD Infrastructure and synchronization tools (exposure to Azure will be extremely beneficial)
Excellent knowledge of O365 as a CSP or Non-CSP solution to the end customer
Microsoft Office 365 – Skype for Business Online
Experience with implementing Office 365, Skype for Business and Lync
Microsoft Skype for Business over virtual clients (VMWare, etc)
Video, Voice, Web Conferencing (e.g. Skype, Vidyo, Blue Jeans), and IP Telephony Technologies
UCC Communications Protocols (SIP, RTV, WebRTC, H.264, and H.323)
DOD 8570 IASAE Level II Certification.
CCIE Collaboration Certification
