  • Responsibilities

    T-Mobile for Business (B2B) - Product and Technology Team is looking for an Associate Software Engineer to help build scalable solutions, solve complex real-world problems, and deliver cutting edge software capability and functionality. We design and build world-class applications that meet evolving requirements and improve our internal and customer-facing environment. Deliver world class software solutions to T-Mobile business customers primarily focused on both the front-end development for T-Mobile for Business (B2B). Work very closely with Product and Technology partner teams working on multiple projects and initiatives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Support senior development resources in the design and develop rich customer experiences, as required to deliver new capabilities or experiences supporting corporate business objectives.
    • Interact with the Business to understand and analyze requirements, and propose solutions.
    • Help design scaffolds (blueprints) with better user experience to enable visualization of final product. Help develop feature-rich web pages with Apache Tomcat and Spring Framework (SpringBoot) on AWS Cloud.
    • Use AJAX/Angular Javascript to enable backend integration through Capability and Experience REST APIs (Microservices) with JSON over HTTP(s).
    • Develop Oracle SQL queries to retrieve data/report and persist using Hibernate ORM, and generate reports for business customers using Shell scripts.
    • Develop Shopping Cart components using IBM Websphere Commerce and develop orders components to submit to SAP as XML SOAP Webservices.
    • Manage the developed code in SVN and GitHub/BitBucket.
    • Responsible for continuous integration (nightly builds) using Jenkins/Kubernetes.
    • Troubleshoot any defects on in-house B2B web portals that caters to customers and customer service representatives.
    • Provide detailed technical design specifications for APIs to the team and provide support for integration and any technical challenges.
    • Responsible for design and development using Scrum-Agile methodology, collecting feedback to improve performance and product quality.
    • Work on Proofs of Concept to reduce development cycles that helps the business to approve the design changes.
  • Qualifications
    • Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) content management system.
    • Familiar with REST/SOAP web services and developing automated scripts to test web services using SOAP UI tool;
    • Working with programming languages (JAVA/J2EE, Spring, Angular JS, HTML) and creating/maintaining routines in AWS, Linux /Unix environment;
    • Developing and using existing Automation Framework to Unit test Web, Standalone, and distributed applications;
    • Architecting, coding, maintaining and migrating existing applications to cloud technologies - AWS
    • Working knowledge of Internet technologies and protocols including HTTP(s), SSL, OAuth, JSON, and XML.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field or its equivalent and 1 year of relevant work experience.
