How You'll Help Us Connect The World

The Global Operations Continuous Improvement goal is to maximize profitability through world class manufacture strategies that drives value creation & waste elimination. As a part of this Continuous Improvement team, this role will lead Six Sigma DMAIC and Lean Projects utilizing the tools and techniques associated with these activities. This is not only an individual contributor role but a role where you will also lead project teams, driving both local and / or global solutions on High Impact Projects. Works cross functionally and interacts with internal Customers, Operations, Planning, Quality, Logistics, Procurement, Finance, Human Resource and other applicable areas to support Continuous Improvement opportunities. Provide training on Lean & Six Sigma tools and assist with the certification of Orange Belts & Green Belts as per Company requirements by holding project gate review meetings. Train employees in Lean & Six Sigma tools using DMAIC Methodology. You will present monthly project progress reports to management. This role will facilitate, on an on-going basis, new ideas, methodologies and approaches so, as to be able to generate dollarsavings.The progression within this role will ultimately lead to, after appropriate training, a Six Sigma Black Belt position.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering
• Preferably 2 - 3 years of related experience
• Strong Six sigma, LEAN and process improvement skills, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time within US and under safe travel conditions

• Exposure to Six Sigma Green Belt certification or trained.
