INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS…

• Internship will last approximately 10 weeks.

• Must have at least a 3.0 GPA or greater at time of application

• At time of application, you must be enrolled in an educational institution.

JOB OVERVIEW…

Server and infrastructure support, networking, projects, providing support for multiple operating systems and Enterprise applications including Windows and Linux, VMware, Citrix, Oracle, SQL.

JOB FUNCTIONS...

• Assist with the planning and organize technical service projects and functions when required including internal networking, office computers, phones and other Media Sales technical infrastructure

• Maintain an understanding of the latest technology and how to apply it to our Media Sales operations

• Maintain a high level of understanding in the setup, deployment and maintenance of computer hardware, software, LAN and WAN.

• Work with software vendors to ensure maximum stability and up times

• Research and recommend solutions for technical projects and issues designed to grow Media Sales revenue

• Utilize networking technology to provide connectivity and real-time sharing of data between remote sites

• Back up for IT Supervisor as required

• Any other duties assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS...

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

• Ability to effectively provide training, present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

• Experience working with all versions of the Windows operating system & Microsoft Office applications

• Knowledge of Windows operating systems

• Familiarity with an Active Directory domain encompassing multiple locations preferred

• Knowledge of the design of local area networks, wide area networks, remote access and all its components

• Ability to troubleshoot network, network connectivity and computer problems

• Advanced computer skills & innovative problem solver

• Ability to be self-motivated, manage time and work without supervision; Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to work flexible schedule, overtime, travel and on-call rotation

• Customer and team focused attitude, able to effectively communicate and follow up to provide final resolution to customers.
