    FIELD OPERATIONS INTERN PROGRAM

    The 2022 Summer Field Operations Intern Program is open for dedicated and hardworking students. The goal of the Spectrum Field Operations Intern Program is to provide current students with exposure to a real-life business setting, while giving them the opportunity to learn about our industry. Spectrum provides an atmosphere that is intended to broaden an entry level candidate's professional understanding while promoting self-confidence, accomplishment, and career development.

    The program is 10 weeks in length and will run from JUNE 1, 2022 THROUGH AUGUST 5, 2022.

    SUMMARY OF PROJECTS:

    • PROVIDE SUPPORT OF REGIONAL OPERATION ANALYTICS TEAM
    • LEARN DAILY REPORTING AND DATA USED TO SUPPORT THE BUSINESS
    • LEARN ABOUT OUR DATA INFRASTRUCTURE AND THE ROLE DATA PLAYS IN MEETING OUR BUSINESS GOALS
    • GAIN EXPOSURE TO REAL WORLD DATA CHALLENGES AND BUSINESS NEEDS
    • ASSIST WITH STATISTICAL AND PREDICTIVE ANALYSIS, DATA STRUCTURING, AND DATA VISUALIZATIONS

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Completing a summer project assigned by respective department and/or functional area
    • Attending internship development activities as scheduled
    • Ability to commit to a full time work schedule (40 hours/week) for the length of the program
    • Performing other duties as assigned

    SKILLS REQUIRED FOR PROGRAM:

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college or university
    • Rising Junior (current sophomore) and above
    • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA or greater required
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Project and time management skills
    • Highly organized; ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
    • Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment
    • Strong public speaking and presentation skills

    RISING JUNIOR OR HIGHER WITH A MINIMUM GPA OF 3.0 PREFERABLY WITH A MAJOR IN ONE OF THE FUNCTIONAL AREAS LISTED BELOW:

    • Analytics

    • Business Information Systems
