  • Responsibilities

    The Corporate Intern Program is open for dedicated and hardworking students. The goal of the Spectrum Corporate Intern Program is to provide current students with exposure to a real-life business setting, while giving them the opportunity to learn about our industry. Spectrum provides an atmosphere that is intended to broaden an entry level candidate's professional understanding while promoting self-confidence, accomplishment, and career development.

    Summary of Projects:

    • Varied exposure to Organization Effectiveness/Leadership Development (OE/LD) programs and projects including employee survey/analysis, talent review data analysis, performance management process design, and Development Planning.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Completing a summer project assigned by respective department and/or functional area
    • Working with fellow interns on a cross-functional group project
    • Attending internship development activities as scheduled
    • Ability to commit to a part time work schedule (10 hours/week) for the length of the program
    • Ability to travel to Spectrum Intern development events/activities
    • Performing other duties as assigned
  • Desired skills

    Skills required for position:

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; data management, analysis, and interpretation skills; skill in conducting qualitative research, such as benchmarking, interviews, and focus groups; attention to detail; project management skills

    Skills required for program

    • Currently pursuing a Master's degree or PhD from an accredited four year college or university
    • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Access)
