  • Responsibilities

    The Fraud Specialist performs a detailed account analysis using weighted profiling and investigative data from multiple sources including the Fraud Management System (FMS), consumer credit analysis, third party and government resources, specific reports, etc. Interprets, organizes and compiles said data utilizing investigative and analytical techniques to ascertain account status and pursues investigation closure according to findings.

    Shift: Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 9:30pm EST

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform account investigations and analysis and effectively analyze, compile, organize and interpret data from inbound cases.
    • Responsible to handle inbound calls from customers regarding all aspects of fraud and ID theft and provide accurate and professional advice and assistance to victims of identity theft regarding future protection on personal credit, pursing law enforcement intervention and any applicable third party and Federal agencies of use to victims of Identity theft.
    • Perform link analysis on confirmed fraud incidents in efforts to identify additional fraud risks on the network.
    • Actively evaluate policy and processes and recommend policy and efficiency improvements.
    • Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.

  • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • High School Diploma/GED required. AA Degree in Business Management, Criminal Justice, Finance or related discipline preferred
    • Prior experience in fraud Investigation or closely related field preferred
    • 12 months prior experience in the wireless industry desired
    • Proficiency in PC utilization in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
    • Analytical and multi-tasking skills.
    • Excellent communication both written and verbal and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to operate in a high stress, accelerated pace environment while maintaining ability to shift priorities, as needed, in response to business demands.
    • Ability to work shifts to support a 24/7 environment

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • At least 18 years of age.
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Pre-employment background screen.
