The Advanced and Emerging Technologies organization is seeking an intern that can turn ideas and concepts for using the T-Mobile 5G network into visually appealing PowerPoint slides, with the goal of selling ideas to internal stakeholders and external partners. The intern will mostly focus on making PowerPoint slides but will also have opportunities to write out "blueprint" documents that explain the vision for a 5G use and showcase why, with rational and justification, scope-of-project, and how it will be implemented.

What you will do

• Build a portfolio of ideas and concepts for 5G use case and showcases with diagrams in PowerPoint

• Write blueprint documents in Word that articulate the vision and proposed plan to execute an idea

• Attend project meetings, mostly listening and learning to gather key details and feedback on ideas

• Develop a custom suite of iconography elements to illustrate different types of network equipment and devices

• Maintain status and updates on projects that are underway

• At the end of the internship time period, the intern will have developed a portfolio of ideas that include some going through development and others that are still concepts (things that are being done and also things that could be done).

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Marketing

• Experienced in Adobe Creative Studio and specifically Illustrator and Photoshop

• Excellent graphic design and PowerPoint making skills

• A "reliable hard worker" with the ability to listen to ideas and turn them into visually appealing PowerPoint slides.

Additional Details

• Must be able to work in Overland Park, KS – relocation IS NOT provided.

• Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education

• Intern wages vary from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location
