We're looking for a summer intern that will help provide BI support for T-Mobile’s Central Region Alternative Coverage Solutions (ACS) Team. This team handles all coverage solutions that are not traditional cell towers (venues, customer locations, retail stores, small cells). This role will build on the existing reports, but the data will need to be refined for all coverage solutions. This role will also assist with the development of dashboards and templates used to aid with decision making at all levels of leadership.

What You will do

• Develop, support and refine Excel and PowerBI models.

• Build, maintain, and improve PowerBI-based tools for use by leaders to view, analyze, and modify information.

• Assist with the development of presentations to executive leadership.

• Interact with RF teams within the ACS organization.

• Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in information systems, computer science, data science, business administration, engineering, economics, business intelligence or other related fields

• Ability to learn and gain an understanding of T-Mobile's existing coverage solutions.

• Possesses analytical and critical thinking skills, with strong attention to detail.

• General knowledge of statistics - data preparation, data mining, statistical & descriptive analysis and data visualization

• Intermediate skill level with office software, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Alteryx and PowerBI, preferred

• Excellent communication and data skills.

Additional Details

• This role is 100% in office. You must be able to work in our Overland Park, KS location – relocation IS NOT available.

• Intern wages vary from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location
