The intern will participate in monthly bonus comp plan analysis, evaluation and redesign. This work drives value for the intern, providing opportunities to learn the ins and outs of data query, data analysis and recommendation building from data, while also engaging with some Finance, HR and Operations teams. The value to my team will be with sharing the workload and an outside perspective, likely creating ideas we might be blind to being so close to the topic and data. The organization as a whole will receive value as well, as the monthly bonus comp plans aid in demonstrating our love to our employees, while maintaining focus on the company goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Write SSMS queries

2. Perform data analysis for understanding of impacts

3. Model data for ideal combination of metrics and weightings

4. Partner and communicate with cross-functional teams

5. Transform data into information (the story the data tells)

6. Utilize excel for analytical needs (formulas, functions, visualizations, etc.)

7. Utilize PowerPoint for story telling

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Data analysis (evaluating data) - Excel/ SSMS

2. Data querying (generating and pulling data) - SSMS

3. Strong communication (probing, understanding, storytelling) - Email, Meetings, PowerPoint

EDUCATION:

• Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, Data Management, or Information Systems

This role is not eligible for relocation. Intern must have reliable transportation to work in office.

Average pay for summer internships is $23-$27/hour
