Finance at T-Mobile offers a fast-paced and team-focused environment that will grow your Finance & leadership skills as you help craft the success of the Un-carrier. You will work across the different functions at T-Mobile & make a difference in how we do business. The intern will have the opportunity to partner with finance and business SMEs to resolve data discrepancies, build reporting using data and analytics methods that ultimately enable our business leaders to manage their organizations and deliver on commitments. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Analyze data discrepancies, identify root cause and work through resolution.  

• Build/update/improve SQL views, stored procedures to help with process improvement.  

• Analyze Power BI reporting portfolio and help centralize data source. 

• Raise tickets for user access to various tools used by the team (SharePoint, SQL database, Power BI reports, etc.) 

• Analyze current processes ; identify and detail difficulties.  

• Partner with outside teams to research standard processes around reporting, permissions, and present findings with recommendations including pros and cons. 

• Must live or have a place to stay in Bellevue, WA, Overland Park, KS, or Frisco, TX.

• Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

• Intern wages vary from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Informatics program graduating in 2023 or 2024 (open to second year Masters students too).

• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite Skills. 

• Outstanding data analysis, organizational, and prioritization skills with a solid attention to detail. 

• Good interpersonal, work ethic, and presentation skills. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity. 

• SQL Server Skills. 

• Creating Power BI reporting and dashboarding.
