    Finance at T-Mobile offers a fast-paced and team-focused environment that will grow your Finance & leadership skills as you help craft the success of the Un-carrier. You will work across the different functions at T-Mobile & make a difference in how we do business. The intern will have the opportunity to work across three functions within the Treasury department – Capital Markets, Treasury Operations, and Insurance Risk Management.     WHAT YOU WILL DO

    Responsibilities and projects will vary by team, but examples include: 

    • Analyze various strategic corporate and structured financing solutions to meet the company’s financial goals. 

    • Support cash and liquidity management function through analysis of company-wide receipts and disbursements. 

    • Handle frontline employee support requests related to bank setup, armored courier services, depository accounts, and other common questions through Treasury inbox. 

    • Provide claims data management support within the Risk Management Information System tool for Insurance Risk Management.   

    • Support driver approvals function by conducting annual Motor Vehicle Records review for all T-Mobile and MetroPCS drivers. Compile driver risk report to include written analysis and recommendations. 

    • Identify operational improvement opportunities and lead automation of manual tasks to drive efficiency initiatives 

    • Develop cross-functional collaboration with internal resources including FP&A, Accounting, Marketing, Tax and Legal to support existing deals/projects.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Currently enrolled in a BS/BA program in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or similar field graduating in 2023 or 2024

    • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite Skills 

    • Outstanding data analysis, organizational, and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail 

    • Excellent interpersonal, work ethic, and presentation skills 

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity 

    • Leadership positions in any extracurricular activities 

    • GPA, CTP and/or CFA Charter holder or candidate 

    • Must live or have place to stay in Bellevue, WA

    • Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education

    • Intern wages vary from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location
