Finance at T-Mobile offers a fast-paced and team-focused environment that will grow your Finance & leadership skills as you help craft the success of the Un-carrier. You will work across the different functions at T-Mobile & make a difference in how we do business. The intern will have the opportunity to develop financial planning and analysis tools to support an emerging T-Mobile Internet business unit. Are you ready to join the Un-Carrier?

What you will do

You'll contribute your creativity and great ideas, working alongside innovative peers and mentors who will push you to be your very best. We'll give you hands-on projects and the chance to make an immediate impact. Here are some of the job duties and responsibilities you could have as an FP&A Intern:

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
• Create detailed financial models and enhance existing models
• Conduct variance analysis to identify underlying causes, opportunities, and risks
• Create visual reporting leveraging analytic tools like Power BI to provide actionable insights
• Construct executive-level presentations and present complex findings in clear, concise manner
• Communicate financial results and forecast changes directly with internal business partners
• Source, cleanse, and synthesize large amounts of data
• Provide ad-hoc analyses as requested by senior management
• Work cross-functionally across FP&A, Accounting and other Finance teams to drive process improvements
• Gather and document business requirements for analytical and reporting process improvements

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Business, Finance or Economics
• Excellent Microsoft Office Suite Skills, specifically Excel
• Outstanding data analysis, organizational, and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, work ethic, and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity
• Self-starter with a passion for learning who is not afraid to ask questions
• Finance and Accounting Fundamentals

This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. We'll give you hands-on projects and the chance to create an immediate impact.

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated within the last year
• Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships

Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Relocation reimbursement may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location.
