This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. WHAT IT'S LIKE:

The AI intern role within our Information Technology team, will help bringing the T-Mobile brand to life through technological innovation. This individual will be immersed in the world of artificial intelligence, thriving in a fast-paced environment where technology and customer needs are continuously evolving. They will leverage their expertise to uncover new opportunities for AI application, demonstrating a passion for educating and recommending tech solutions. The AI intern will be supporting the development and deployment of systems improving customer experience, and quality metrics. Their ability to work independently with sometimes ambiguous requirements will make them a valuable asset to the T-Mobile family.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Develop, test and deploy the UI for customized input/output for ML/AI projects
• Prompt engineering and result evaluation with LLM
• Develop code to orchestrate backend calls to different service endpoints, like vector store and LLM models
• Create pipeline to combine prompts and results for final output
• Collaborated with other developers and product managers in an agile environment
• Learn from mentors and experts in the field of Generative AI

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create and enhance web frontend in React or Bootstrap
• Create backend query control in LangChain
• Create prompt for large language models, LLM
• Enhance prompt engineering by LLM output
• Debug and deploy code to web application and API

WHAT IT TAKES:

• BS or MS in AI/ML, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated with the last year
• Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships
• Employers does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students of F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.
• Relocation reimbursement may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
• Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
