This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you'll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. WHAT IT'S LIKE:

Come be part of a winning team that delivers high valued applications that support the front line in T-Mobile retail stores. As part of this team, the potential candidate will help deliver applications using Swift and or Java code for a business critical application that is used by thousands of users across the country. The potential candidate will also be part of an Agile Scrum team, participating in all the necessary cerimonies that will take them from the creation of User Stories, to development, testing and eventually to production deployment. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Potential candidate will work on a wide variety of projects that include adding business logic to support front line needs to perform some business need to complete a customer requirement. Supporting security and stability changes that are required to keep our systems and customer data safe and sound. Performing application framework and or architectural changes in support of new standards as required by T-Mobile or the industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Participate and provide input as a member of an Agile Scrum team and all supporting ceremonies
• Take assigned user stories and or tasks and use them to build application code using swift and or java
• Participate in code reviews with Senior Developers to ensure best coding practices and requirements have been met
• Participate in triage calls to help support our application teams in time of outages or impacts

WHAT IT TAKES:

• Knowledge of Swift development programming using Xcode.
• And Or Knowledge of Java development programming using eclipse or similar IDE.
• Familiar with Object Oriented Analysis and Design concepts.
• Excellent communication skills
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated with the last year
• Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

Employers does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students of F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.Relocation reimbursement may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’sactual pay will be based on experience/location.
