    OVERVIEW

    T-Mobile's Finance, Procurement & Supply Chain (FP&SC) team is on a major transformation journey, and we're seeking a Communications Specialist to execute on communications strategies in support of this transformation.

    As a key member of the Change Management team, you will be responsible for creating communications deliverables in support of our program communications efforts. This includes contributing to team newsletters, crafting content for quarterly team meetings, maintaining internal web pages, supporting executive and FP&SC communications deliverables, and more.

    The right person for this role is highly detail-oriented, has strong project management and written/verbal communications skills, and is excited to take the pen to help write the story of transformation for the FP&SC team at T-Mobile!

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Content Creation : Source, write, edit, and distribute communications initiatives supporting our change & communications strategy. Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and insights, transforming them into coherent and compelling narratives.
    • Executive Communications : Support executive communication requests, including delivering team meeting materials, written executive communications, and other critical deliverables as they relate to program communications.
    • All Team Meeting Support : Help craft and communicate materials for quarterly program team meeting and serve as onsite liaison for transformation events (when required).
    • Communication Channel Management : Partner with program channel leads to maintain various communications channels, including Teams and internal websites, ensuring visibility for program initiatives.
    • Other duties as assigned by manager.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • High attention to detail.
    • Proficiency with communication tools and platforms such as Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Strong interest in change management, financial storytelling, and/or Shared Service Network transformation is a plus!

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree (or progress being made toward a degree) in Communications, Journalism, English, PR or related field.
    • 0-2 years’ experience in business writing and editing such as newspaper, magazine, website and/or corporate communications.
    • 0-2 years’ experience working in a fast paced, high-volume Marketing, Communications, and/or Public Relations function.

    Other Qualifications:

    • At least 18 years of age
    • Legally authorized to work in the United States
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Must be actively enrolled in a degree program or graduated within the last year
    • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for internships

    Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

    Relocation may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

    Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on experience/location.
