Technical Analyst - Supply Chain Planning

  • Responsibilities

    The Technical Analyst will support supply chain planning technology capabilities in T-Mobile's Network Supply Chain domain. This role will help drive T-Mobile's 5G build-out in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Experience with technical solutions to supply chain functions such as demand planning, supply planning, and sales and operations planning (S&OP) are desired. In particular, experience with o9 Solutions software is preferred. This role will use Dev Ops practices to enable continuous delivery of enhanced supply chain planning capabilities by domain teams. Should be aware of modern software development, integration, and delivery practices using DevOps and Agile methodologies. Regarding data integration, should be familiar with API development and data integrity frameworks. Ultimately, individual must be comfortable understanding the business drivers and helping translate these into technical capabilities that accelerate T-Mobile's network development.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Technology and Systems

    • Translates business requests (Customer Journey's, EPIC's, or Business User Stories) into technical user stories, system diagrams, and low-level design documents that take potential data sources into consideration
    • Performs analysis of business requirements or information and translates into technical solutions that meet business needs for projects of low or medium complexity
    • Designs and executes configuration changes in T-Mobile's core supply chain planning solution
    • Participates in testing of new features and/or configurations
    • Authors functional specifications for data integrations between systems, in collaboration with technical architect and developers

    Project Management

    • Delivers functional scope and solution, including analysis of the processes or systems impacted
    • Ensures stakeholders, project managers, and management are fully informed of project risks, team activities and project status
    • Participates in issue resolution efforts to help eliminate or reduce scheduling or budget impacts
    • Researches and identifies improvements to project efficiency, speed, and quality via cross-team synergies, methods, tools and staffing models
    • Collaborates with business (supply chain, finance, etc.) and other technology partner teams to develop business capability and technology roadmaps, focused on supply chain planning and adjacent functions
    • Provides education on potential process or system solution options and drives business/IT investigation of emerging strategic capabilities
    • Participates in sessions to solicit and document requirements (e.g., creation of user stories)
    • Relationship and People Management
    • Occasionally assists less experienced peers
  • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain (Operations) or a related field. In lieu of degree, equivalent industry experience may be considered.
    • 2-4 years of related work experience.
    • Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence preferred
    • APIs, data integrity controls
    • Focused on supply chain planning, operations, etc.
