HOW YOU’LL HELP US CONNECT THE WORLD

As a Training & Development Specialist Intern, you will be responsible for New Hire training program. The training specialist will be performing skills gap analysis to optimally lead all phases of the onboarding training plan for employees by crafting and delivering training materials. You will work closely with HR, Engineering, and Operations team to develop and implement an onboarding training program for new employees in operations. This role will be based in Santa Ana, California.

YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT BY

• Design, develop, and implement a training program for production workforce.
• Identify training needs of the current personnel to help develop a training plan for new hires
• Develop a training schedule to track and maintain employee training courses and progress
• Coordinate training requirements with Production, Engineering, and HR to ensure key metrics are defined
• Monitor the training process to evaluate effectiveness; be dedicated to continuous improvement
• Gather, review, and analyze coarse evaluations to determine effectiveness of training sessions
• Define appropriate training methods (on-the job training, mentoring
• Prepare and develop training material such as training aid, instructional material, handouts, evaluation forms and visual aids
• Work with Engineering and Production Supervisors to develop new work instructions, job aids, on-the job manuals, and other training materials/qualifications
• Recommend and implement approved revisions to training materials as necessary to improve training efficiency

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION

• Junior or Senior standing in a BS, BA or master’s degree in Human Resources Management from an accredited university
• Proven strong academic performer with a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Ability to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
