• Splunk rules to RBA format
• Splunk MITRE ATT&CK risk rule heat map

12-week Summer Internship Timeline

• Option 1: May 23rd – August 12th
• Option 2: June 20th – September 9th

Internship Locations:

Locations of individual opportunities are determined by the business and therefore candidates must be open to relocation for the duration of the 12-week internship. Candidates may be considered for multiple locations & roles. All 2022 internships will be assigned an in-office location, remote or hybrid internships are not available.

Relocation & housing for the Summer is provided to any candidate who is located more than 50 miles outside of the assigned office location.

Locations for this may internship include:

• Bellevue, Washington
• Frisco, Texas
• Overland Park, Kansas

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 18 years of age by April 30th, 2022
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be actively enrolled in University/College course credits. GAP year students are ineligible.
• Non T-Mobile employee.
• T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. The CDC defines "fully vaccinated" as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. T-Mobile will require proof of vaccination and consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause T-Mobile undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.

Summary:

The Cybersecurity Engineer will help ensure that our software, systems and infrastructure are designed and implemented to the highest security standards. Performs technical security assessments, code reviews and vulnerability testing to highlight risk and remediate associated findings while helping T-Mobile teams and partners improve security. Works to design and build proactive methods to enhance our security posture.

This Internship supports initiatives for auditing, analyzing, coordinating, and implementing security measures to enhance security posture within mobile device, IoT device, enterprise line of business applications, cloud, big data, and core and carrier network technologies as well as and other business units as needed.

Responsibilities may Include:

• Supports information security review of new technologies, designs, and remediation planning efforts
• Maintains documentation on security needs & recommendations plans/resolutions provided.
• Develops visibility inside & outside of info security, interfaces with groups such as application support, engineering ops, finance, privacy, risk management, etc.
• Keeps updated documentation for security policy lifecycle throughout, including intake, creation, review, approval, implementation, publishing, communication & maintenance.
• Communicates accordingly to stakeholders at each of the steps of the project.
• Participates in security, compliance, and risk assessments on projects throughout project lifecycle
• Supports peers with security projects driven by groups both internal and external to info security
