    WHAT YOU’LL DO:

    WHAT IT TAKES:

    External applicants eligible only. Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for UofMagenta Internships. Must be at least 18 years of age by April 30th, 2022. 12-week Summer Internship

    • May 23rd – August 12th or June 20th – September 9th
    • WHAT LOCATIONS TO EXPECT: Locations of individual opportunities are determined by the business and therefore to be interested in on our opportunities you must be open to relocation for the duration of the 12-week internship. All 2022 interns will be assigned to an office location. Relocation is provided to any candidate who is located more than 50 miles outside of the assigned office location.

    Must be actively enrolled in University/College course credits. GAP year students are ineligible.

    T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. The CDC defines "fully vaccinated" as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson. T-Mobile will require proof of vaccination and consider requests for exemption from this requirement during the offer phase as a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs where the accommodation would not cause T-Mobile undue hardship or pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others.

    • High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
    • Previous internship, clerkship or pro-bono work is a plus
    • Strong working knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office Suite applications (in particular Word and PowerPoint).
    • Knowledge of the wireless industry is desireable
    • Familiarity with FCC licensing and other research databases preferred for Government Affairs roles
    • Familiarity with SEC and legal compliance-related work experience preferred for Compliance & Ethics roles
    • Familiarity with privacy, Constitutional law and technology preferred for Privacy roles

    T-Mobile is seeking JD Law candidates for a summer internship position within its many facets of the Legal department. We are looking for an exceptional summer interns to

    • Conduct legal research and writing, drafting presentations to be used internally and in meetings with various internal and external agencies, and preparation of correspondence and legal documents.
    • Attend various department meetings, seminars and prepare documents with updates and analyses
    • Work with members across our Legal Affairs, Government Affairs, Compliance & Ethics, and Privacy teams on telecommunications topics, including (among others): spectrum regulation, infrastructure reform, consumer and public safety issues, cybersecurity, content regulation, net neutrality, privacy, contracts, Corporate Investigations and universal service
