Responsibilities Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings, mechanical equipment, etc.Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and the operating principlesPerforms general maintenance and repairs of buildings, furnishings and equipment center-wideConsults with Maintenance/Logistics Supervisor in the preparation of specifications for construction and modification workReads and works from blueprint specificationsAnalyzes and repairs problems with appliances, heating and air-conditioning unitsMakes periodic inspections of center mechanical equipment; adjusts and services them as necessaryMaintains buildings performing routine and minor/major painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other related maintenance activitiesEstablishes and maintains records relating to periodic maintenance of center mechanical equipmentMay operate trucks and other center vehiclePerforms other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum: High school graduate or equivalent. Two years experience in the field of building maintenance that includes electrical, plumbing, carpentry work, and heating/air conditioning.Preferred: Extensive experience Knowledge Required: Ability to obtain a State drivers and CDL license. Knowledge of building construction and maintenance, plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, etc. Ability to operate hand and power tools.All post offer candidates must complete and pass a background check and drug screen.
