  • Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The essential job functions and responsibilities:

    • Preparation of Concession foods which includes making popcorn, and hotdogs and placing Pretzels and Nacho’s into warming machines.
    • Filling up fridges with drinks, before, during and after each game.
    • Replenishing candy, chips and other stands before, during and after each game.
    • Customer services skills to interact with patrons and ensure they have great concessions experience at sporting events.
    • Ability to work in a fast pace environment and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to count and handle all monetary transactions. (Experience operating cash register is preferred, not required.)
    • Performs other site and position-specific functions as assigned.
    • Clean up after each game.

    • No qualifications needed.
    • Healthy and must be able to stand for at least 3-4 hours per shift.
    • Must be available on weekends and some weekdays.
    • Must be available to work on different events on different days. Sometimes 3(three) days in a row.
    • Be able to work under difficult circumstances
  • Qualifications

    MINIMUM

    • Third- or fourth-year undergraduate student with an intention of majoring in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or similar discipline
    • Ability to research data using internet/online sources
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
    • High level of professionalism
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships across all levels both within and outside of the organization
    • Demonstrated mathematical aptitude
    • Ability to work both autonomously with limited supervision and as part of a team
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence and maintain high levels of communication and feedback with peers, management and various stakeholders
    • Demonstrated ability to adhere to work/quality procedures to ensure quality system compliance and high-quality work

    PREFERRED

    • Previous experience working in an office environment
    • Previous experience working with external organizations such as suppliers
    • Ability to travel to other BMT Medical sites (if necessary)
    • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
    • Knowledgeable in Supply Chain requirements of ISO 13485
    • Contract preparation and negotiation experience
    • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of quality policy/system expectations.

     

    OTHER

    • The position requires relationship building with both internal and external process stakeholders and indirectly managed resources.
    • The individual in this position must be resourceful and committed to protecting the company's interests by balancing both short-term and long-term requirements.
    • Mental demands – work is detail oriented, often with multiple priorities. The environment is deadline sensitive and may be exposed to high-pressure situations.
    • Limited travel may be required

     

    JOB LOCATION

    • Eden Prairie, Minnesota (no relocation or housing assistance available)

     

     TERM/HOURS

    • May start dates are preferred, but other start dates may be considered.
    • Hours: 40 hours per week
